Welcome to the Dorset Writers Group!

The Dorset Writers group launched in September 2010 when a group of enthusiastic people, who love to write, decided to run their own workshops. We offer inspiring sessions exploring different aspects of creative writing.

Based in Wareham, the Dorset Writers group meets weekly to offer mutual support, inspiration and encouragement. A friendly and supportive atmosphere allows development of skills, sharing of information and an opportunity to meet visiting professional authors and journalists.

Welcoming writers at all levels; we offer constructive feedback and are encouraged to share our work. We are planning to have a shared project within the group which will hopefully lead to publication.
